CalExitPAC Contribution Rules
Contributions to CalExitPAC are governed by the laws of the State of California and, where applicable, federal election law. By making a contribution, you affirm the following:
Eligibility Requirements
- You are a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- This contribution is made from your own personal funds, and not from the funds of another person or entity.
- This contribution is not being reimbursed by another person or entity.
- You are not a corporation, labor organization, national bank, federal contractor, or foreign national prohibited from contributing.
- This contribution is made with your own personal credit card, debit card, or checking account, and not with a corporate or business account.
Contribution Limits and Use of Funds
- Contributions to CalExitPAC are not tax-deductible for federal or state income tax purposes.
- Contributions to political action committees that are not candidate-controlled are not subject to California’s contribution limits, unless earmarked for specific candidates or ballot measure committees, in which case state limits apply.
- Contributions may not be used for federal candidates or federal election purposes.
Reporting Requirements
California law requires CalExitPAC to collect and publicly disclose the following contributor information for individuals giving $100 or more in a calendar year:
- Full legal name
- Street address
- Occupation
- Employer
Federal law prohibits contributions made in the name of another person.

By contributing, you confirm that the above statements are true and accurate, and that you understand and accept these contribution rules.
